Therapy Sessions

Therapy sessions in Northampton

My training covers the core elements of counselling, self-hypnosis, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and self-help methods. I practise with empathy which occurs through being non-judgemental, non assuming and using a caring environment that allows you to explore, learn and most importantly heal.

I work as a complementary therapist who works in co-operation with medical doctors. I do not claim to cure or treat medical illnesses, injuries or conditions. Having completed the courses, I proudly hold two 'Diploma' qualifications for Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Advanced and Diet & Nutrition Therapy.

I am qualified and registered as a 'Full Practitioner' and also a member of 'The Society for Holistic Therapists and Coaches'.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Sessions

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy. It has been proven to help treat a wide range of emotional and physical health conditions in adults, young people and children. CBT looks at how we THINK about a situation and HOW this affects the way we ACT in the 'here and now'. In turn, our actions can affect how we think and feel.

CBT therapy looks for ways to improve your state of mind. Through client sessions, we will work together to change your behaviours and thinking patterns to help treat any underlying issues.

Mindfulness Therapy Sessions

Mindfulness is a philosophy and state of mind derived from Buddhist faith and is applicable to both multi-faith and non-faith therapy work.

It is being used extensively in private and public sectors providing therapy services as an appropriate way of addressing emotional issues as well as assisting in the management of long term conditions.

Mindful cognitive behavioural therapy is a modern and increasingly popular combined therapy approach which combines well evidenced results with a deeper philosophical model.
